No. While cleaning your carpets means rinsing it deep down, no moisture is able to penetrate the backing of the carpet.

Normally, it can take anywhere between 6 to 12 hours for carpets and upholstery to completely dry. However, they may feel damp when you touch them right afterward. The exact time will vary depending on the weather, moisture levels, and air flow. That said, we use cutting-edge technology to cut down drying time as much as possible.

It’s generally recommended to have carpets professionally cleaned about once a year because the build-up of soil as a result of lots of foot traffic can actually break down the fibres of your carpet. The more traffic your carpets have, the more often it should be professionally cleaned.

In order to remove pet odors as a result of urine, the urine must be neutralized or removed from all layers affected. Pet urine can soak through to the backing of the carpet as well as into the padding. Sometimes the urine can even penetrate the sub-floor underneath the padding.

If the urine has only affected the face of the carpet, then cleaning it may effective enough to remove the odour. In more severe situations, a neutralizer may help. In extremely severe cases, the carpet padding may need to be replaced or the underside of the carpet and the sub-floor may need to be treated.

That said, treating and even replacing the padding may not always entirely remove pet odour. If the situation is left untreated for a long time, pet odour can even absorb into window drapes, upholstery, and even baseboards. We offer several solutions to eliminate pet odour, though we cannot guarantee that it will be 100% removed.

Smaller areas often have soil that is very concentrated, compared to larger, more wide-open spaces where the soil is more evenly distributed. As such, these smaller areas can actually take more time to clean and need a larger quantity of cleaning solution.

Yes. We use smaller equipment to clean smaller units, which means our technicians will require access to an electrical outlet, a water source, and an area for disposal.

It’s recommended that you are present during the cleaning in order to ensure we have all the information needed about the specific areas to be cleaned, your expectations, and any pre-existing issues we should be aware of.

When our technicians arrive, we ask that you thoroughly vacuum your carpets or upholstery. Further, any delicate and fragile items should be removed from the areas to be cleaned.
